Judith D. Henderson, age 79, died in Midland on Friday, August 5, 2022.  She graduated from Midland High School in 1960.   She was the daughter of LaRue and Rose Beebe and married Richard James Henderson in 1961.  They raised their five children in Averill, Michigan on Hope Road.
She is survived by her brother Jerry Beebe & wife Anita and four children, Richard, Angela, Roderick and Cheryl.  Steven died August 4th, 2021.  She loved her son and daughter in-laws, Joseph, Kathy, Dena, Kendle and was overjoyed by her grandchildren, Cory, Caleb, Bianca, Michael, Lucas, Ryan, Jack and Chris.  Kylee Rae Henderson died May 2, 1992.
Judy worked for many years as an Activities Director, first at Provincial House then at Stratford Village.  She was illuminated by compassion and love for all she worked with.  She loved what she did, we were always so proud of her.
She had many, many talents.  She did not dabble in one or two, everything she did she did with perfection.  Cooking, knitting, crocheting, gardening, birding, canning, sewing.  She was an amazing baker, most days we’d have something delicious waiting for us when we got home from school.   Her specialty was homemade bread, she made 12 loaves a week and would devour two loaves right out of the oven.
She was a wonderful mom and example for all of us.  She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 1997.  She persevered through her illness, she was the most determined person we’d ever known.    She will remain alive in our hearts with stories of funny memories until we meet again in Heaven.  Thank you Mom, for our Catholic Faith and your never ending love, we will miss you.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Grace in Sanford Michigan 11:00 am Wednesday August 10, 2022 with Fr. Daniel Fox OFM Cap. officiating.  Friends may call at the church on Wednesday starting at 10 am until the time of services.  Burial will take place in the Jerome Township Cemetery, Sanford.  Memorials are suggested to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
