​George A. Rood, 48, of Mt. Pleasant died unexpectedly at home, Tuesday November 8, 2022. He was born October 30, 1974 in Mt. Pleasant the son of the late Michael & Linda (Halladay) Rood.

George was a good auctioneer and an he was also accomplished at pool, horseshoes and corn hole.

Survivors include his sister Lisa Rood of Mt. Pleasant, brother Barry Rood of Alma, many nieces and nephews. George was also preceded in death by his brother Mike Rood.

Services will be held at 12 noon Friday November 11, 2022 at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11 am until the time of services.
