Sanford Leroy Sweet, 68, of Saginaw died at home Wednesday June 7, 2023. He was born March 1, 1955 in Standish, the son of the late Charles Robinson and Madonna Sweet. Sanford served with the United States Air Force. He was employed as a truck driver retiring in 1997. Sandy enjoyed fishing and riding his bike. Survivors include his children: Nathan & Charity Sweet of Coleman, Eric & Taylor Sweet of Midland, Trisha Sweet of New York, grandchildren: Aleyna, Lylee, Aaron, Anna, siblings: DonElla Nielsen of Coleman Priscilla Rempe of Indiana, Roxanne Valentine of Missouri, Kelly (Randy) Norton of Midland, Darcy & Mic Lewis, Karrem Render, Evie (Keith) Koch all of Coleman, Donald Render, Jr. of Coleman, brother-in-law Jeff Hubble of Coleman. Sanford was also preceded in death by his sister Maryann Hubble and brother Dennis Robinson. Memorial services will be held 11:00 am Monday June 12, 2023 at the Coleman Wesleyan Church in Coleman with Rev. Scott Hayes officiating. Burial will take place in the Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman. Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 5-7 pm and on Monday starting at 10 am until the time of services until the time of services.
