​Barbara A. Bailer, 88, of Coleman died Sunday May 12, 2024 at Stratford Pines in Midland, with her family by her side.
She was born in Beaverton June 20, 1935 the daughter of the late Arthur & Anna (Romatz) Rydman. Barbara A. Rydman married Louis D. Bailer June 19, 1954 in Coleman. He preceded her in death December 24, 1988. Barb worked as a meat Cutter at K&D Market in Coleman and then was employed at Dow Corning retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church, delivered meals on wheels for several years, receiving an award for her outstanding years of volunteer service in 2016 from the City of Coleman. Barb enjoyed working in her flower garden and loved spending time with her grandkids.
Barbara is survived by her son Blaine & Tammy Bailer of Coleman, grandchildren LeeAnn & Brandon Stevens, Joel Bailer & Danielle, Jim Bailer, great-grandchildren: Addie, Hannah, Graden, Kegan, Skyler, Lucas, several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a son Bruce, two daughters Louann, Sally Jo, brothers: Jack, “Chuck”, Lawrence “Al” Rydman, sisters Bernice Miller, Helen Wakefield.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held 11:am Saturday June 8, 2024 at Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Lisa Kelley officiating. Burial will take place in the Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman. Friends may call at the church on Saturday June 8 from 10 am until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to either the Faith United Methodist Church or the Coleman Assembly of God Church.
