Jack A. Reim, 80, of Coleman, died Monday April 18, 2016 at McLaren Central Michigan. He was born in Oakland, CA November 12, 1935 the son of the late Hewitt & Amy (Pearson) Reim.
Jack was an electrician and a member of IBEW for 54 years, retiring in 1998. He served with the United States Navy for 6 years during the Korean War. Jack’s favorite pastime was spending time at flea markets.
Survivors include his children: Jack & Elaina Reim of Beaverton, Lisa & Rob Ralston of Port Charlotte, FL, Shawn Reim of Shepherd, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, prior spouse Cheryl Jean Knight of Arcadia, FL and a sister Connie Martinez of CA. He was preceded in death by his stepmother Mable Reim and a half-sister Amy Foster.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday April 22, 2016 at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc., Coleman with Rev. Nathan Reed officiating. Burial will take place in the Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and on Friday starting at 10 am until the time of services.
