Ronald E. Haller, 92, of North Bradley died Sunday November 23, 2014 at home, with his family by his side. He was born June 21, 1922 in Geneva Township the son of the late Martin & Olive (Griswold) Haller. Ron married Winnifred Yancer June 27, 1942 in Bridgeport. He retired from Dow Corning in 1975 after 25 years of service. Ron had served in the South Pacific with the U.S. Army during WWII. He enjoyed the outdoors: hunting, fishing and camping. His family was his top priority.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Winnie of North Bradley, children: Linda Dick of Midland, Lynne Haller & Brenda McNally of Coleman, Eugene Haller of Coleman, Rhonda & Tim Grandy of Sanford, 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and his brother Richard & Shirley Haller of Coleman. Ron was preceded in death by his son-in-law Donald Dick, daughter-in-law Kathleen Haller, brother Dexter Haller, sisters, Ruth Harshman Nash and Zella Rease.
Funeral and committal services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday November 26, 2014 at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc., Coleman, with burial in the Geneva Community Cemetery, North Bradley. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and on Wednesday starting at 10 am until the time of services. Memorials are suggested to the Coleman Veteran’s Memorial.
