​Charles L. VanBuskirk, 71 of Coleman died at home, with his family by his side, Tuesday July 26, 2022.  He was born in Flint August 6, 1950 the son of the late James & Mildred (Chaffee) VanBuskirk.  Chuck married Doris A. Haggart August 30, 1969 in Coleman.  He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He had been employed at Robinson Industries for many years and then retired from Huhtamaki in 2007. 
 
Survivors include his wife Doris of Coleman, daughter Keshia & Jason Rotz of Cincinnati, Ohio, grandson Logan, brothers Ronald & Fran VanBuskirk of Mt. Pleasant, Michael & Janet VanBuskirk of Clio, many nieces and nephews.  Chuck was also preceded in death by his brothers Daniel, Theodore, Thomas and James VanBuskirk and sister Victoria Lopez. 
 
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday August 2, 2022 at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Kris Remington officiating.  Burial will take place in Riverlawn Cemetery, Denver Township.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and Tuesday starting at 10 am until the time of services.  Memorials are suggested to the Coleman Veteran’s Memorial.
