​Donald D. Clarke, 95, of Coleman died Monday January 16, 2023 at MyMichigan Medical Center, Midland.  He was born November 15, 1927 in Midland County, the son of the late Arthur & Nina (Brown) Clarke.  Donald D. Clarke married Lena Sahaydak March 25, 1951 in Bay City.  She preceded him in death March 11, 2007. 
 
Don owned and operated his farm in the Coleman area for many years.  He was inducted into the Michigan Farmers Hall of Fame.  Don was member and trustee of the Coleman Wesleyan Church.  He served on the Chemical Bank Board of Directors. 
 
Survivors include his children: David & Gretchen Clarke of Coleman, Eldon & Jean Clarke of Bonney Lake, Washington, Colleen & Al Pope of Coleman, Kevin & Kim Clarke of Coleman, Doreen & Dave Shore of Raleigh, North Carolina, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, brothers; Lyle & Jean Clarke of Cass City, Lavern & Sue Clarke of Clio, Keith & Linda Clarke of Owosso, many nieces and nephews.  Don was also preceded in death by his brother Lawrence. 
 
Funeral and committal services will be held 11:00 am Monday January 23, 2023 at the Coleman Wesleyan Church with Rev. Scott Hayes officiating.  Burial will take place in the Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman.  Friends may call at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 2-6 pm and at the church on Monday starting at 10 am until the time of services.  Memorials are suggested to suggested to the Coleman Wesleyan Church.
