Jack LeRoy MacDonald, age 85, of Coleman passed away Wednesday May 10, 2023, at home under the care of Promedica Hospice.


 


Funeral Services for Jack will be held at O’Laughlin Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Scott Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in the Warren Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel on Monday, May 15, from 4 until 7 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.


 


Jack was born on May 21, 1937, in Midland, son of Donald and Hulda (Methner) MacDonald. Jack received his bachelor’s from CMU. In 1975, he purchased some land and began farming. Jack enjoyed working on the farm, boating, and going fishing.


 


Jack is survived by his sons, Scott MacDonald and Kurt MacDonald; 9 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Gerald Powell.


 


Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Janet in 1976; son, Dale MacDonald; and grandson, Zachary MacDonald
