​Marilyn Louise Render 85, of Coleman, died at home Tuesday February 27, 2024, after a 5 year battle with cancer.
 
She was born August 6, 1938 the daughter of the late Albert & Ica (Welch) Merritt.  Marilyn married Eugene E. Render April 30, 1955.  He preceded her in death March 27, 2003.  Mary was employed cleaning houses, worked as a playground supervisor at the Coleman Elementary School for over 20 years and at C W Gordon Chevrolet in Coleman as a cleaning lady.  She loved the outdoors, hunting, mushrooming, crocheting, feeding wildlife, gardening, canning, camping, traveling but most of all she loved her family, pets, close friends, neighbors and her extended family. 
 
Mary’s family includes her children: Cid & Pam Render of Coleman, Cindy & Duane McCoy of Coleman, Kenneth E. Render (deceased) Roger & Chrissy Render of Harrisville, New York, 13 grandchildren, 27 Great-grandchildren, with one being born on her birthday 80 years later.  Her extended family: the Finney family, the Ballard family, Chris & Rick Salter.  Mary was also preceded in death by her siblings. 
 
The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice and Brittany for the great care Mary received. 
 
Cremation has taken place.
