Finney, 67, of Mt. Pleasant died at home Friday December 6, 2024. He was born May 10, 1957 in Clare the son of the late Wayne & Betty (Bird) Finney.

Bruce served with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1985-1989. He worked for Dow Chemical as an engineer technician for 27 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, nature and bird watching. He was a sports fan, preferring to watch high school and college events rather than the professionals.

Survivors include his daughters, Jeanni Finney & William Doran of Mt. Pleasant, Jenae Finney & Troy Richard of Chattanooga, TN, grandsons Sylas and Khai, granddaughters Allison and Madison, brother Kelvin Finney of Coleman, sister Lavonne & Roy Balcom of Shepherd, brother-in-law Matt Dillon of Coleman, several nieces and nephews. Bruce was also preceded in death by his sisters Renee Dillon, Annette Burns, brother-in-law Nick Burns.

A celebration of Bruce’s life will be held at a later date.
