Sylvia A. Kent, 82, of Coleman, died unexpectedly Tuesday December 17, 2024 in Mt. Pleasant. She was born in Detroit February 15, 1942, the daughter of the late Frank and Cassie (Biernaski) Sygit.

Sylvia married Ross C. Kent August 28, 1978. She retired from the Target store in Midland after 13 years of service.

Survivors include her husband Ross, son Christopher Vega, 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, sister Valerie O'Connell. Sylvia was preceded in death by her daughter Cynthia.

Services will be held January 18th, 11am at Our Lady of Grace in Sanford. A luncheon will follow at the Mason Hall in Coleman MI (next to pizza man).
