Gilbert R. Moore, 76, of Coleman, died Thursday May 2, 2024 at home with his family by his side. He was born June 3, 1947 in Midland the son of the late William & Mildred (Gross) Moore.
Gilbert was employed as a mason working on construction all over the state retiring in 2013. He enjoyed camping, bailing hay with his brother Hank, his dog Fancy, and spending time with kids.
Survivors include his daughter Stacey & Steve DeBolt of Cadillac, step-children, Melissa Hasty, Scott Mall, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Hank & Tammy Moore of Coleman, step-sisters: Alice Allen of Midland, Mary & Bill Marble of Coleman, Ila & Les Hart of Grand Rapids, several nieces and nephews. Gib was preceded by his wife Karen Moore, son Kelly Moore, brothers: Bill Moore, Darrell and Robert Gene Thomas, Glenn and Bill Carey, Jr., sisters Rose Farless, Marie Thomas, niece LaChelle Moore and nephew Tracey Moore.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held 11:00 am Saturday May 11, 2024 at the Church of Daniels Band, 4835 Bard Road, Beaverton, MI 48612, with Pastor Randy Govitz officiating. A luncheon will follow. Friends may call at the church on Saturday starting at 10 am until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Church of Daniels Band.
