Vicky L. Rice, 67, of De Leon Springs, Florida died at home, Wednesday February 5, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born July 5, 1957 in Midland, Michigan the daughter of the late Willard & Phyllis (Maynard) Owens.
Vicky L. Owens married James “Tom” Rice October 23, 1982 in Midland. Her interests included: missionary work, volunteer work, community outreach, cleaning and thrifting. She enjoyed gardening, redecorating, scrap booking, and genealogical studies.
Survivors include her husband Tom of De Leon Springs, Florida, children: Angelo Lopez (Amanda Miller) of Midland, Rudy Geno Lopez (Kim Kahoud) of Ormond Beach, Florida, Nathan & Pamela Rice of Midland, Amy Rice of De Leon Springs, Florida, Katie & Eric Katzaman of Pasadena, Maryland, grandchildren: Madison, Elizabeth, Diego and Camille Lopez, Ariella Rice, 3 great-grandchildren, brother Patrick Owens of St. George, Utah, step-siblings, Joseph Card and Jennifer Card.
Funeral services were held Wednesday February 12, 2025, with burial in the Geneva Community Cemetery, North Bradley. Memorials are suggested to Midland’s Open Door, PO Box 1614, Midland MI 48641.
