Martha Jean Hasenfratz, 83, of Coleman, died Sunday February 16, 2025 at MyMichigan Medical Center, Midland. She was born April 12, 1941 in Coleman the daughter of the late J. Eldean & Ethel (Anderson) Acker.
Martha J. Acker married Michael J. Hasenfratz September 25, 1965 in Coleman. Martha liked to garden, grow flowers, bake, and spend quality time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always made sure to attend all of their sporting events throughout school and was involved in what was important in their lives. She looked forward to yearly bus trips with the Coleman group. Mike and Martha enjoyed spending time in the Upper Peninsula with friends at the Hiawatha Sportsmans club, which they were members of for many years. She was an avid puzzle lover and always had a new one she was working on. She looked forward each spring and fall to the local craft shows that she could go to. She was a lifelong member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Coleman and always got involved whether it be being a Sunday school teacher for many years or helping with dinners and fish fries.
Survivors include her husband Mike, children Michelle & Jeff Hinskey of Saginaw, Todd & Tammy Hasenfratz of Clare, grandchildren: Nathan Hasenfratz, Erik Hasenfratz & Ashley Wilkes, Madison Hinskey, great-grandchildren Elyse Harmon, Aliza Hasenfratz, brothers, Wally & Janie Acker of Coleman, Al & Debra Acker of Coleman, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday February 21, 2025 at the Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Lisa Kelley officiating. Burial will be in the Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman. Friends may call at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc. of Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and at the church on Friday starting at 10 am until the time of services. Memorials may be directed to the Faith United Methodist Church.
