sDorothy Mae Robinson, 84, of Coleman, died Wednesday January 8, 2025 at Pioneer Golden Estates in Clare, with her family by her side. She was born October 4, 1940 in Wheeler Township, Gratiot County the daughter of the late Ardo & Ruth (Rhoads) Gursuch.
Dorothy Mae Gorsuch married Harvey “Gene” Robinson June 20, 1958 in Breckenridge. He preceded her in death February 2, 2024. Dorothy had work for the Clare Dime Store, Coleman Pharmacy, Sanford Pharmacy and she ran her own licensed daycare in her home. Dorothy attended church all her life, most recently, she has been a member at Brown Corners Church for the last 30 years. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School for more than 40 years.
Survivors include her children: Jennifer & Marshall Haskell of Kewadin, Gregory & Jodie Robinson of Clare, Joy & Martin Kleinhardt of Clare, grandchildren: Jennifer & Jeff Thompson, Lauren Manderbach, Adalie & Jonathan Harper, Amber & Jake Wendt, great-grandchildren: Kenzie, Matthew, River, Hayden, Trace, sister Lois Miller of Clare, sister-in-law Peggy Gorsuch of Shepherd. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her grandson Jeffrey Haskell, brother Leon Gorsuch and sister Jane Reese.
Funeral and services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday January 12, 2025 at the Brown Corners Church, 5540 S. Clare Avenue, Clare, 48617, with Pastor Jeremiah Ketchum officiating. Burial will take place in the Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman. Friends may call at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday from 2-4 & 6-8pm and at the church on Sunday starting at 1:00 pm until the time of services.
