Carolyn A. Owens, 86, of Coleman, died Wednesday September 25, 2024, with her family by her side, at MyMichigan Medical Center, Midland.
She was born December 4, 1937 in Midland Township the daughter of the late Eugene & Emily (O’Dell) Foster. Carolyn A. Foster married Alden W. Owens August 23, 1958 in Levering, Michigan. She retired from MyMichigan Medical Center, Midland in 1993 after 25 years of service. She enjoyed traveling, trips to Las Vegas and around to the state of Michigan to the casinos. Carolyn also enjoyed fishing. Her favorite thing was spending time with her grandson, Mike.
Survivors include her husband Alden of Coleman, children Debra & Mitch McGill of Midland, David & Laurie Owens of Sanford, grandchildren, Michael Owens, Amy & Jerry Handley, great-grandchildren: Nathanial Sperling, Steven Smith, Nicholas Sperling, 4 great-great-grandchildren: Rye, Wesley, Memphis, Ada Kay, her brother Jerry Foster of Sanford, and several nieces and nephews. Carylyn was also preceded in death by her brothers William and John Foster.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday September 30, 2024 at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Kevin Tippin officiating. Burial will take place in the Geneva Community Cemetery, North Bradley. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday starting at 10 am until the time of services. Memorials may be directed to the family.
