Greer D. Thomson, 80, of Farwell died Saturday January 18, 2025 at Medilodge of Clare. She was born May 26, 1944 in Midland, the daughter of the late Eliot & Barbara (McClary) Cloud.
Greer D. Cloud married Larry L. Thomson August 25, 1962 in Coleman. He preceded her in death November 16, 1988. Greer retired from Tendercare, Clare in 2010 after 18 years of service. She enjoyed working on word search puzzles, collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, angels, bears, and ginger bread men.
Survivors include her daughter Dianne Thrush of Farwell, grandchildren: Chad Thrush, Jim Thrush & Tiffany Lazarowicz, Josh & Angel Thrush, 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law Douglas D. Thrush, sisters JoMac Rydman, Barbara Cloud and brother Richard Cloud.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday January 21, 2025 at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Jack Tigner officiating. Burial will be in the Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and on Tuesday starting at 10 am until the time of services.
